Etude internationale sur les expériences des étudiants de l’enseignement supérieur avec Internet

Abstract : Cet article prend sa source dans une nouvelle étude portant sur la façon dont les étudiants de l’enseignement supérieur de deux cultures différentes (Québec et Suède) arrivent à intégrer de façon significative Internet dans les dimensions cognitives, affectives et sociales de leur vie quotidienne. Les trois principales raisons pour centrer notre attention sur la communauté des étudiants de l’enseignement supérieur sont les suivantes :
- Ce groupe est vraisemblablement à la pointe des pratiques émergentes des personnes qui apprennent, vivent et aiment à travers un usage courant et innovant des média et des outils de communication comme Internet.
- En même temps, les étudiants constituent un groupe de personnes diverses et raffinées où l’on peut probablement trouver une grande variété d’usages et d’attitudes liés à Internet.
- Troisièmement, les étudiants de l’enseignement supérieur ont des styles de vie semblables partout dans le monde, ce qui fournit une base initiale de comparaison pour des études internationales.
